Billing cycles and proration

Subscription renewal dates, usage periods, and mid-term adjustments.

Software subscriptions are billed in advance for a monthly or annual term. Infra resource usage is billed after its calendar-month usage period.

Renewal dates

Open Organization Settings → Billing → Subscriptions → Subscription in Console to see the current term and renewal date. The first activation sets the UTC billing-day anchor. Short months use their last day; later months use the original anchor. Annual terms renew on the activation anniversary, using February's last valid day for a leap-day anchor.

Cards and authorized debits collect at invoice issuance. Wallet users pay each invoice by its due date. Approved transfers follow the invoice's payment terms.

Monthly resource allowances reset by calendar month, independently of software renewal dates.

Increases

Seat and package increases apply after payment. Their adjustment is the price difference multiplied by remaining term seconds, divided by total term seconds. Annual increases use the annual price difference.

Amounts are rounded to invoice-currency cents after proration, discounts, and conversion. The mid-term seat example shows the calculation.

The Review change screen shows the effective date, adjustment, and next renewal total. Check these before confirming.

Reductions and interval changes

Reductions take effect at renewal, with no immediate unused-capacity credit. Seat or object-capacity reductions below current usage are blocked. Email and archive-intake allowances follow their package rules.

A monthly-to-annual switch starts a prepaid annual term and credits unused software time. Annual-to-monthly switches take effect at annual renewal. A review marked Contact billing requires an accepted amendment.

For a charge that differs from the saved review, request an invoice correction.
