Billing in Canada
Pay USD invoices and record Canadian business tax registrations.
Canadian businesses use USD invoices. Enter the legal company, province, postal code, and tax registrations under Organization Settings → Billing → Details in Console.
Payments
Use a card authorized for USD recurring payments. Its issuer sets any CAD statement conversion and foreign-transaction fee. Refunds use the original payment currency and route.
Approved bank transfers use the USD beneficiary and invoice reference printed on the invoice. Contact billing before sending CAD against a USD balance; see bank payments.
GST/HST and provincial records
Enter the applicable GST/HST and provincial registrations under Billing → Details → Tax information. Collection depends on the supply, registration regime, place of supply, and customer status. The Canada Revenue Agency explains GST/HST rates and place-of-supply rules.
If automatic validation is unavailable, select Submit document and track Under review, Approved, or Rejected. Read a rejection reason before resubmitting.
Use invoice corrections for incorrect tax information. For a payment discrepancy, include the invoice amount in USD, the statement amount in CAD, and both transaction references.
