Billing in Asia-Pacific
Business details and payment setup for Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Japan, and India.
Businesses in Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Japan, and India use USD invoices. Cards are the standard collection method; international bank transfers require billing approval. For Alipay, WeChat Pay, or UnionPay, see mainland China billing.
Company details
Open Organization Settings → Billing → Details in Console and enter the legal payer and address. Add the applicable registrations under Tax information.
| Country | Business tax information |
|---|---|
| Australia | ABN and GST-registration status |
| New Zealand | GST number |
| Singapore | UEN and GST-registration status |
| Japan | Legal customer and consumption-tax information requested by billing |
| India | GSTIN, registered legal name, and billing state |
The purchase review shows assessed tax. A registration alone does not establish exemption. For Australian business purchases, the Australian Taxation Office explains ABN and GST declarations for imported services.
Payment and invoice requirements
Add a card under Billing → Payment Methods and complete issuer verification. For a wire, use the invoice's USD beneficiary, SWIFT instructions, and reference. Sender and intermediary fees must be covered to avoid a short-paid balance.
If procurement requires withholding or supporting documents for an overseas payment, contact billing before paying. Confirm the accepted amount and allocation in writing. Use invoice corrections for errors in an issued document.
