Scheduled monitor availability
Configure one-time, daily, or weekly check availability.
Each monitor can define up to 20 one-time, daily, or weekly availability windows in an IANA timezone. A window either enables or disables checks. Use this for routine availability rules—for example, stopping checks for a service that shuts down every night.
Open the Organization tab of the monitor editor and use the Scheduled availability section. Each window has an action (Enable checks or Disable checks), a recurrence (One time, Daily, or Weekly), a start and end, and—for daily and weekly windows—a Repeat through end date.
How windows combine
- With no enable windows, a manually enabled monitor runs except during active disable windows.
- When at least one enable window exists, the monitor runs only inside an active enable window.
- An overlapping disable window always takes precedence.
- Starts are inclusive and ends are exclusive.
- Daily and weekly recurrence preserves local wall-clock time across daylight saving changes and must have an end no more than five years away.
- The normal pause/resume switch is the master control; schedules cannot override a manual pause.
While checks are disabled by a schedule, the monitor list shows Scheduled off. Heartbeat pushes received while scheduled off update the last-seen heartbeat but do not change the monitor's state.
