Per-monitor outbound proxies
Route HTTP checks through an HTTP or HTTPS CONNECT proxy.
HTTP monitors can route their request through an HTTP or HTTPS CONNECT proxy. Set the optional Outbound proxy URL in the monitor editor:
http://user:password@proxy.internal:3128The proxy URL must use http or https and may not include a path, query, or
fragment. Proxy authentication uses URL user information. Status removes those
credentials from displayed monitor configuration and stores the full
authenticated proxy URL encrypted; the editor and API show the same write-only
marker used for other request credentials. Leaving that marker in place during
an edit preserves the credential while allowing the proxy host or port to
change.
Proxy connectivity is evaluated from each selected worker region. Allow the proxy to reach every target and restrict proxy credentials to the minimum required destinations. SOCKS proxies are not accepted. Proxy authentication failures produce ordinary down results, with proxy URLs and credentials scrubbed before results are delivered or persisted.
