Prometheus metrics

Authentication and metrics exposed by the Prometheus endpoint.

GET /api/metrics exposes Prometheus text format 0.0.4 and requires the same bearer authentication as the monitoring worker protocol:

Authorization: Bearer $MONITOR_WORKER_TOKEN

The endpoint returns:

  • monitor enabled/up gauges;
  • last accepted check timestamps;
  • last response times in milliseconds; and
  • monitoring-agent liveness using the shared two-minute stale boundary.

Labels are limited to stable monitor/agent IDs, monitor kind, and agent region. User identity, destinations, errors, credentials, names, and arbitrary tags are not exported. Missing or short server credentials disable the endpoint; invalid credentials receive a bearer challenge.
