Plugin development
Validate plugins, run headless tests, and refresh editor types.
Studio's plugin command line validates source and runs plugin tests without opening a window. Studio plugins describes creating a plugin through the editor.
Validate and test
With Studio on PATH, validate the manifest, source, imports, and API types:
asterune-studio plugin validate ./my-toolsRun the plugin's tests/*.spec.luau files in a Studio process without a window:
asterune-studio plugin test ./my-toolsValidation and test failures return errors. Correct the reported manifest or source location, then rerun the command. Refresh editor types from the installed Studio version with:
asterune-studio plugin types ./my-tools
